— RIVERS & CONNECTIONS
At the meeting place of the Bow and Elbow rivers, The Confluence Historic Site & Parkland is one of Calgary’s most historically and culturally significant places — a gathering place that has connected people, stories and communities for thousands of years.
For East Village, it’s also part of what makes the neighbourhood unlike anywhere else in the city.
Connected to RiverWalk, St. Patrick’s Island and the broader river pathway network, The Confluence adds another dimension to life in the downtown east end — one shaped by culture, gathering, festivals, reflection and connection to the land beneath the city.
It’s where pathways lead to performances, exhibits, gathering spaces and riverfront views.
