During the summer months, East Village is home to The Hive, an urban collection of five beehives and thousands of busy honey bees. In partnership with local beekeeper and honey producer, MOB Honey, we produce this raw, wild and unpasteurized honey. Packaged into adorable sizes, this honey makes the sweetest gift.
This is the first edition of Calgary: Colouring Book, which contains colouring pages for 25 Calgary landmarks (including the Central Library and Studio Bell, in East Village). Each featured landmark also includes a matching activity page that includes a paragraph of history, journaling and a spot to place a photo of yourself visiting the landmark. It can be used in conjunction with the Alberta elementary curriculum.

Designed and hand-beaded by artist Tina Brothers from Moonstone Creation, the design of the earrings was inspired by the natural beauty of St. Patrick’s Island—where the land and water meet at the river’s edge. Each pair is made with Myiuki glass beads and a 1” hypo-allergenic surgical steel hoop.
Tina Brothers is a Métis artist from Valleyview, Alberta that has been beading for 10 years. She learned to bead under the tutelage of Yvonne Jobin, founder of Moonstone Creation Indigenous Art Gallery, and Kim Brothers.
