Run back into Fall

For much of YYC, fall means the transition back to weekly routines, infusing your morning coffee with pumpkin spice and pulling out your warm toques (okay fine. we never actually put them away).

But for runners, fall signals the start of race season. East Village is in the centre of it all; in support of first responder half marathons, city-wide cheering in the street, or racing to a glass of rosé at the finish line, we’re lacing up and ready to go.

East Village is home to running routes and running groups with no dead ends in sight. Take the scenic route and stroll, roll, waltz, or race your heart out and move through the neighborhood with ease. You’ll find pedestrian and cycle lanes along the edges of the Bow and Elbow rivers with connection to 700 kilometres of the city’s pathways for a safe and efficient way to get from point A to B. So whether you’re participating in a community event or challenging your own personal best we’ve got places, spaces, and races all over St. Patrick’s Island and EV.

Here’s a breakdown of upcoming runs & races this fall in East Village.
