Dinner at Nupo

A new restaurant has just opened in East Village’s Alt Hotel! Nupo by Darren Maclean (you might recognize him from The Final Table on Netflix) is a Japanese-style restaurant that is plant-forward, focusing on vegan and vegetarian cuisine – plus incredible sushi! Book yourself a reservation to see (and taste) what all the buzz is about.

East Village presents Happy Hour with Howlin’ Pete

Peter Cormier of Peter and the Wolves is heatin’ up Happy Hour at the Eddy! Get your fill of rockabilly cool tunes with $7 pints and $8 cocktails at Happy Hour.

Crush Flow

Crush Camp’s 50-minute Crush Flow class is yoga for the non-yogis. For the runners, weight lifters, climbers, swimmers, hikers, bikers, and the tight bodies that come with them. For the busy professionals who make time for their workouts, but not always for self-care. It’s yoga without the fluff, Sanskrit, oms, or pretzel-like flexibility requirement.

Print(ed) Word Documentary

Join the Calgary Public Library Foundation for the premiere of the Print(ed) Word Documentary, which highlights the project of the same name that explored book-inspired relationships and the creative partnership between 12 authors and 12 printmakers.

Alberta Spotlight: Caleb Hart & Roca Roots with Infamous Ray

The National Music Centre is pleased to present "island-soul" act Caleb Hart & Roca Roots with DJ Infamous Ray as part of the Alberta Spotlight series.

The Shoe Project Steps Up

The Shoe Project is back for its third year in a row at High Performance Rodeo! The Shoe Project Steps Up is a brand new, locally-produced performance by 12 Calgary-based immigrant and refugee women who will tell their stories of arrival and adaptation to Canada...this time not through a pair of shoes, but through a hat.

Swingin’ Sundays

Learn to swing dance with Calgary Public Library's beginner-friendly introductory lessons starting at 1 pm, and social dancing from 2-4 pm. No partner or experience required. This program is in partnership with Top Cat Swing.
