In January 2016, Sidewalk Citizen Bakery started a monthly cultural dinner salon. Called Tzavta, the Hebrew word for the act of sitting together, sharing food and conversation among friends, their vision was to create an intellectual welcoming space.
For each salon, Sidewalk Citizen creates an intricate hearty meal in honour of the speaker, inspired by their passion, taste, heritage or whim. Starting with plates to share, a main course and a dessert, the dinners are served at long communal tables that enable conversation between guests.
On Sunday September 15th, join host Dr. Beatriz Luna for a conversation about how the teen brain shapes into an adult brain, and how risk taking impacts this transition. The conversation will be moderated by athlete, explorer and risk taker, Ian MacNarirn.
