Community Climate Conversation

'Community Climate Conversations' (the CCCs) are a city spanning initiative by Calgary Climate Hub that brings a host of bonafide climate experts to Calgary communities. Citizens can engage with the experts and each other to discuss climate topics that resonate with them the most, from climate science to renewable energy to eco-anxiety.

EVNA Movie Night

The East Village Neighbourhood Association presents: Movie Night! Join EVNA on the King Eddy rooftop for Mrs. Doubtfire. Refreshments will be available for sale. Outside snacks and beverages are not permitted.

St. Louis Hotel Throwback Horse Racing

It’s your last chance to enjoy a Friday afternoon lunch of chicken and chips at the St. Louis Hotel this summer! Join Best of Calgary as they bring back the George Stephenson tradition of imaginary horse racing. Enjoy a couple Village Brewery beers and a classic St. Louis meal of chicken & chips while placing your bets.

Central Library Tour

Pride Parade

Come share in the outpouring of love and support within the LGBTQ2+ community and from its numerous allies. The parade and parade staging starts right here in East Village, so you’ll have the first close-up look at all the fun and fanfare!

Scotiabank Backbeat presents: The Permanent Residents

Join local band The Permanent Residents at Studio Bell for an acoustic rock performance that's sure to get you grooving!

HIGH Fitness at the EV Experience Centre

Aerobics is back! Bigger, better, HIGHer! This class is first-come, first-served with a capacity of 30 participants. Bring good sneakers and a water bottle. HIGH Fitness will run on the deck of the EV Experience Centre on Mondays until September 16 (weather dependent).
