1. Northern Reflections Window Exhibition

The Northern Reflections Winter Window Exhibition by Buds of Buds transforms city streets into an interactive urban gallery through an Augmented Reality (AR) app, Augle, that brings the painted windows to life.

2. Treats from Sidewalk Citizen’s holiday menu

One of our top highlights this time of year? Sidewalk Citizen’s holiday menu! Fan favourites like their classic butters, spreads, bacon jam, parmesan crackers, and croissant and brioche stuffing are back in addition to three new cakes.

3. Light Up the Square


December 1 at 5th St. Square, 3:00-6:00PM
Meet up with your neighbours on December 1st to celebrate the annual community tree lighting at 5th Street Square! Chat or sing carols with your EV friends as you take a ride on a horse-drawn wagon through the streets and pathways of East Village.

Want to share a smooch with somebody special this holiday season? Take a walk through East Village – you'll find mistletoe popping up in surprise spots all around the neighbourhood! Post a photo of yourself and a loved one (dog, BFF, mom, S/O) under the mistletoe with the hashtag #evKissmas, and we’ll share our favourites on social media!

Try your hand at one of Canada's most beloved winter sports! Our synthetic curling sheet is back at St. Patrick's Island to help get you out of the house this winter. Curling on the Island will be open daily from 9:00AM-7:00PM. Play solo or in teams - you can even make your own rules!

Grab your Christmas wish list and head over to the East Village Experience Centre to put in a good word with the big guy! On three Sundays in December, Santa will be visiting and ready to pose with little ones, big ones or even canine family members. 8. Holiday Fest ‘n’ Film

Cozy up with friends and family to embrace the holiday season on St. Patrick's Island! Winter fun and festivities will keep you toasty from noon-2:00PM. Stick around afterward for an exclusive showing of Smallfoot on our special daytime movie screen from 2:00-4:00PM.

10. She[EMPOWERS] Christmas Market


December 14-16 at the St. Louis Hotel
Shop from and support local female entrepreneurs at the She[Empowers] Christmas Market featuring female-made artisan goods and entertainment by up-and-coming female performers. There will also be free workshops running with topics ranging from sustainable fashion to self-care to jewelry-making.
