Parkside + Fort Calgary:
Our Garden Home

Parkside is bordered on the west by 5th Street SE, on the north by 6th Avenue SE, on the east by 6th Street SE and on the south by 9th Avenue SE.

Parkside is a residential enclave; with its eastern border on the Fort Calgary lands and a central public square, it’s naturally more peaceful and gardenlike. It’s here that you’ll find four-storey townhomes framing private courtyards, a contrast to the higher-rise feel of other EV neighbourhoods. Buildings grow in height as you head south toward 9th Avenue SE. That’s where East Village ends and RailTown begins – a development that will be centered around the future high-speed rail interchange.

Fort Calgary
Fort Calgary borders the eastern extremity of East Village at 6th Street SE, ends on the north at the Bow River, in the east at the Elbow River and in the south by the train tracks on the south side of 9th Avenue SE.

Mews News
The Riff walkway traverses Parkside, and intersects with The Mews, a winding pedestrian street flanked by small-scale residential apartments and a square that Parksiders can call their own.

Invitation to the Edge
Just across 6th Street SE, the Fort Calgary lands will offer Parksiders new adventures. An urban forest is planned for the south end, and recreational gardens and green play areas bring the community together out of doors.
