Dateline Calgary

Modern Calgary began in East Village, and the influence of the area has been great, even when it was no longer the centre of the city. EV’s location makes it a neighbour with all of downtown, so it was always, in some way, part of the action. Here’s a short history of East Village and the downtown to which it gave birth.
