EV’s first-ever Stampede breakfast and vintage market are a delicious way to celebrate the 100th birthday of Stampede and of EV’s own landmark, the Simmons Building.
Breakfast starts at 9 am, July 7, on RiverWalk near the distinctive red brick Simmons Building in East Village. (Look for the beautiful original hand-painted signage on the sides of the building, located at 618 Confluence Way.) After you’ve enjoyed your cinnamon buns overlooking the Bow River, take a look at the many vendors in our first Vintage in the Village market. Thrifty Cowgirl, Bug & Bird, Honey B’s, Mod Magpie, Cat’s Eye Vintage and many other purveyors of vintage clothing, jewelry, toys, quilts, antique, furniture and art will be set up for business in the Simmons. It’s a grand way to celebrate 100 years of beloved institutions and the new start being made in the newest, oldest, coolest, warmest neighbourhood in town. Come join us!
