This summer, Theatre Calgary presents Shakespeare by the Bow at St. Patrick's Island with 'Hamlet - A Ghost Story'. These 50-minute shows will give audiences a glimpse into the lives of the first family of Denmark. Rediscover the spirit of the original Shakespeare, which is, after all, a ghost story where "hell itself breathes out contagions to this world". Join Theatre Calgary as they re-imagine Shakespeare's most famous play and discover what is "rotten in the state of Denmark".
'Hamlet - A Ghost Story' starts nightly at 9:30pm and runs from July 19-24. Performances begin on RiverWalk at south end of the George C. King Bridge. These shows are roaming performances, where you will walk through the island with the actors, so please wear comfortable footwear. Admission is free!
