The Unity Project

As part of Empathy Week, Humainologie hosts The Unity Project. This interactive public art project consists of 32 wooden posts, each with identifiers such as, “I am a parent; I speak English as a second language; I identify as LGBTQ,” etc. Participants wind colourful yarn around the posts that reflect their identities. Their yarn intertwines with others’ to create a web of interconnectedness. At the Rise, June 3 & 4, 9AM - 9PM.

Run for Water is a non-profit organization that raises money for clean water projects. This year's Calgary Run for Water will feature a 10k run, a 5k walk/jog/run, as well as a 500m event for kids 5 and under.

Curl at our synthetic curling sheet, try out a fat tire bike from Bow Cycle and watch a snowshoe demo by Special Olympics Calgary athletes.
