Calgarians really DO love their libraries!

The free Sept. 4 design disucssion and first look at the features, amenities and function of the New Central Library has been embraced by library and architecure-lovin' Calgarians, and the free tickets are all spoken for.

Come hang out with us and be a part of the North American premiere of Net Blow-Up, a self supporting, climbable, social sculpture.


Net Blow-Up is the creation of three artists from Vienna and Austria called 'Numen/For Use', that encourages people to explore the ideas of scale and direction, and immenseness and absence of space, simultaneously.

People of all ages are encouraged to navigate this floating landscape of nets suspended within a soft structure, which mutuates with every movement of its temporary inhabitants.
