Currently recruiting for e.a.s.t. CREW
East Village is evolving into Calgary’s most livable, walkable, enjoyable downtown neighbourhood. Part of the charm of East Village is its broad selection of events & programs that attract first time visitors and familiar locals down our cobblestone streets, funky lighted pathways and carefully curated urban spaces.
Each year, East Village hosts a plethora of lively and inspiring public events that animate the newest, oldest, coolest, warmest neighbourhood in Calgary. These events bring East Village to life for the attendees who flow to our yoga beats, shop at our markets and eat at our food trucks, and help them imagine what “it” is that East Village can offer, and what life here can be. It’s that special little something you can’t quite put your finger on, but you are fully aware “it” is here!
We are looking for “it” ourselves, the “it” that lives inside you! We are looking to recruit a newly established Event Team to help us execute our 40 festivals and events yearly that attract on average 60,000 people into our community and result in 150+ days of programming throughout the year. We have termed this group e.a.s.t. CREW (Events Activity Street Team).
The e.a.s.t. CREW positions are part-time, and report to the Manager, Events & Programming with Calgary Municipal Land Corporation.

We are offering a part time job that lets your creativity shine, and has you participating in a variety of funky outdoor event executions in and around East Village.
