The East Village Sales and Experience Centre opens officially tomorrow.
Frankly, we can’t wait to welcome you to 5th St. SE and Riverfront Ave and show you around. The spectacular centre, a contemporary glass and wood pillar building designed by James Cheng, is worth a visit for the architecture alone, not to mention its location adjacent to RiverWalk on the Bow. But just wait until you get inside. The centre contains everything you need to know about life in East Village – and to find a place of your own here. There are show suites for Evolution and FIRST, a big scale model of the entire East Village project to get you oriented, touch screens that help you explore nearby attractions, films about plans for EV and much more.
YYC food trucks will be in attendance to satisfy appetites gained from RiverWalk strolling, touchscreen touching and condo shopping.
For us at CMLC, the opening of the centre marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter in the revitalization of the area we’ve always thought of as the newest, oldest, coolest, warmest neighbourhood in town. (We thought of it that way even when it was an enormous infrastructure construction project, when the streets hadn’t been laid, when the 4th St. Underpass was just an idea, when RiverWalk was just a drawing....you get the idea.)
We look forward to seeing you tomorrow between 11 am and 5 pm.
The EV Experience and Sales Centre is adjacent to RiverWalk on 5th St. SE and Riverfront Ave.
